Cass – Unpasteurized beer of Seoul, S. Korea

20130217-010410.jpg

Also called live beer as it still has yeast, micro organism, or some refer to natural probatics from beer. Most commercial is pasteurized today as it needs a longer shelf life for today consumer market.

Unpasteurized beer… Taste indeed really crispy but do consist of moderate aroma of malt. It is not bitter at all even contains hops. Moderate to light taste but retain original beer Flavour. Appearance is clear gold and less bubble.

It leaves a crispy taste in the mouth and feel a bit dry. I mean really dry but not the term of dry beer. I have a bad stomach sometimes but Cass beer give a comfortable feel after drink. I pretty much like it as it is from a different perspective of taste. I raise its rank to second after Yian Jing.

Journey to the West

Watched this long waited movie by Stephen Chow. He is not acting this time but produced by him. Overall I think it is not his top output but reasonably a different attempt by him using Computer assisted graphics. Only disadvantage is the original movie produced in Mandarin. If watch in Cantonese will have a slight different effect.

Bavaria from Holland

20130214-021025.jpg

Using pure mineral water from its own spring. Tasted smooth but with bitter taste due to hops. Found that all green bottle beer is tend to be bitter. But hope it is not skunky taste which is sour and bitter too. Still learning to differentiate skunky’s bitter and hops’bitter. Overall, Bavaria taste lighter and smooth but with a little bitter taste. (Less aromatic)

Asahi Super Dry Beer

20130212-235732.jpg

Asahi tasted in the category of draught beer. It is crispy and dry. Smooth to drink and appearance looks light gold that feel more cooling. Japanese beer looks less bitter than European. Lighter in aroma than Budweiser. Also a type of adaptive beer.

Beijing Yanjing 11P

20130212-012039.jpg

Stronger in taste than 10P version, 1% more in alcohol, richer in aroma but still a very adaptive dry draught beer. Slightly bitter than 10P but is nothing compare to hoppy beer. Appearance itselfs are deeper gold in colour. If you looking for a normal but smooth beer to drink, 11P is the answer.

Foot Massage – Thai Odyssey Kota Damansara

20130210-172635.jpg

Foot massage is one of my like as we have been asking too much from her service but we may not take care of her. It is also the second heart of human. Regular massage may bring good health and overcome problems of your body.

Personally tested a few different chains in KL even when I first started in JB Sentosa Garden. I like the Thai Odyssey outlet at Kota Damansara. I not sure why, even the procedure is different from other outlets. I like their staff, friendly and skillful. Environment is also very cosy and nice. Except the noise reduction from outside shopping mall not that good. So you may can hear invasion of mall’s music during the session.

Depending on your personal acceptance of pressure. Do let the staff know how much pressure to adjust until you are comfortable. It is unlike Chinese traditional foot massage that pain means something wrong and it is good to focus more on that area. Thai foot massage may be less focus in reflection but overall muscles and blood circulation. It does carry some reflection spots but not as complete as Chinese type. But overall, I do enjoy Thai Odyssey from foot to you shoulder, neck a d back before it finish its session. For a price of RM 60 per hour, I do think is value my money. Kah Kun Kap!

Stella Artois – Belgian best seller

20130209-012336.jpg

A larger from Belgium. Crispy and slightly aromatic and rich. Less bitter, less hoppy and smooth larger beer. Should be easily well accepted as cooling beer. It is not a draught beer but light and smooth but still maintain good aromatic taste. Appearance is like clear gold with medium bubble filled. It is definitely a good beer to me and very adaptive.

CO2 for a planted aquarium

After few months of angel fish dominated community, East Aqua adopted my angel fish and provide them a 5 foots aquarium space. They are happy there and I visited them few times. They also adopted my tiger fish in a very nice planted aquarium.

Understand my problem that I am very difficult to commit time for a weekly water change. I reckon that a planted aquarium will be my ultimate choice. Where plants are the key focus with small fish community to reduce maintenance. To reduce filter maintenance, I have upgraded to an external filter.

Also added another CO2 automatic release while lights switch on to allow photosynthesis.

I have added good bacteria and algae control into the tank. Also stop using salt and UV filter in order to create a more balance natural environment.

I have also added three CO2 required plants and it looks great now as natural relaxing feel planted aquarium.

Aussie’s Fosters – Medium bright

20130208-015954.jpg

Just a day after tasted Beck from German. Fosters is the turn this time round. The taste feel Cooling and bright. Not really aromatic, rich or crispy, dry type. But everything feel medium and less bitter than Beck. Overall a medium beer that taste cooling and bright.

Beck’s Green bottle from German

20130207-021109.jpg

Beck’s tasted more hoppy, crispy, rich but bitter like Ales. So far second to Budweiser for crispy but more bitter. Many compared it with Heineken but a lighter version. Some even think Beck’s is like coffee. You need to get use to it when you regularly drink it. Slowly you will enjoy the taste a lot. I wouldn’t recommend to beginner but more to senior beer lover. I think they should even know more than me. In summary as I am a light beer drinker, it is pretty hard for me to enjoy. But as a best seller of German beer in the world. I believe it deserve a more senior beer drinker to taste and review.
