Slightly cloudy yellow gold with fine bubbles. Smell malty with a little skunky. When first touch of my tongue. A mild citrus taste and crispy. When it reaches throat. Taste like a type of English tea and creamy. (Cannot recall the name of the tea) So far a very adaptive German wheat beer I have tried.

Premium Heineken Beer
Yellow gold appearance. Some bubbles but not fine and quickly disappeared. Smell malty, bold, crispy and hoppy. A stronger character beer with European tradition that’s feel more bitter. Opted going for can to avoid being skunky. If you like bold character beer but still with the same alcohol unit. Heineken larger is for you.
Haizhu Beer (Kirin)
Carlsberg – Copenhagen 1847
I am not sure if my can is out of expiry date or not. Almost completely no bubbles with mild yellow appearances. Smell malty aroma on top. Crispy and slightly hoppy as European tradition. Again anything green colour of the bottles or can will tend to be more hoppy with European style. Feel cooling when reaching to throat. Taste also very much malty and aromatic. If between three local brewed tasted. I will give Carlaberg a star compare to Anchor and Tiger. Anchor will be my second choice due to its citrus taste.

Blanc 1664 Wheat Beer
Cloudy, blue bottled and light yellow appearance. Should be non filtered. Light bubbles with flat smell. However, when tasting it you feel a very obvious citrus taste. Like a bit of peach taste every byte you drink. Very crispy and with slight bitter. Wheat taste beer that feel like perfume with citrus in short. I like it but I guess should be a ladies killer. It taste like a lady with perfume.
Kooksoondang Makkoli Rice Wine
When I passing by a promotion counter. I heard a voice “want to try”. An old lady smiling and pour a small cup of this white thing for me. Then when I know is rice wine. For a local Malaysian Chinese, I always think rice wine is for Chinese prayer or when catching the ghost only will be used. Definitely not common for rice wine.
When I first try this rice wine. It is cold and she said it is advisable to drink cold to bring out the taste. First try, I have no words and immediately ask for second cup. Mild sweet but with a very nice aroma like from flowers. Smooth with 6% alcohol. A little warm when swallow plus a mild flower plus citrus taste left in the mouth. Immediately I bought 2 bottles back home.
Drink wisely for health benefits and don’t drink while you drive!
