After a year looking around the market. I have not been able to look for a half helmet that is properly build and DOT approved. Finally i decided to try online purchase from US and it’s done! The key reason i wanted a half helmet badly is due to its flexibility to wear a spectacle with multi focus.
After a week of waiting time, finally i received it from J&P cycles online supply store. The color and the labeling decoration looks very cool indeed with military feel. With DOT approved, it is not so low profile as normal Harley’s riders wear. In fact, i have bought the size that i thought suitable for me but still consider small especially the top part of the helmet. Asian’s head size is much bigger than the West. Whereas the West is much sharper for most of the head size.
The helmet come with a bicycle like back tightener. It is good function as it can help to further tighten the helmet especially during high speed scenario. The overall build is superb with just under USD 100. Personally i feel that if with a face cover to be used with this helmet will be extremely rugged.
