Shao Xing Rice Wine – 女儿红

Made by lake water, wheat, rice and burnt sugar. Highly aromatic of fermented roast rice and wheat. Brown dark appearance. Once sip felt the heat from mouth to stomach. Kind of strong for just 17% alcohol. Slight sweet and light sour but smooth. After taste is long lasting and bold. Totally different from Jap and Korean rice wine. Recommending 50 to 100 ML per serving. As body very full and taste strongly. Different kind of experience but I kind of like it.
